We started Loom & Hide out of frustration. Every bag looked the same - the same beige tones, same clean lines, same trend chasing. Beautiful, maybe, but lifeless.

We wanted to create something different. Something that stood out not because of a logo, but because it had character — texture, history, and life.

We set out to change that. By pairing vintage rugs with premium full-grain leather, we create one-of-one bags that have color, character and individuality.

For us, it’s simple:

No two bags are the same.

No logos. No mass production.

Just individuality — reimagined and ready to be carried.

Our products are designed in Antioch, California and handcrafted in family-owned workshops in Marrakesh (Morocco), Uşak and Istanbul (Turkey), and Nairobi (Kenya).

Each workshop follows our design standards and uses traditional methods to ensure lasting quality.

The Process:

Rugs: We source vintage rugs, 50–90 years old, discovered in villages and towns across Morocco and Turkey. Each carries the colors, motifs, and stories of its origin.

Leather: We use only the finest vegetable-tanned full-grain leather, chosen for its strength, character, and ability to age beautifully over time.

Finishing: Every piece is refined for durability and detail — blending heritage craftsmanship with modern functionality.

By keeping production small and direct, we ensure fair pay for artisans and create pieces with soul handmade, eco-friendly, and free from synthetic fibers or chemicals.
